5* retirement home for horses and ponies in Louth, Lincolnshire

At our lovely farm, nestling at the foot of the rolling Lincolnshire Wolds, near Louth, we have excellent facilities for our older and retired equine friends. We pride ourselves on our high level of paddock management, our stables and yard are clean and tidy, and we match field companions carefully so that everyone is happy.

We are a small family yard, we live on site and look after the horses ourselves. There is no restriction on access and we speak to, or email, owners very regularly, keeping them as much involved as they would like to be. Many have become firm friends.

We feel priviledged to live in such a lovely place. The unspoilt Lincolnshire Wolds are beautiful to visit and there is very little traffic, yet access is good. The air is clean and so fresh that the horses are not troubled by horse flies in the summer, nor by excessive rainfall.

Having lived here all our lives we have established trusting relationships with our local vets, farriers, horse dentists, physios etc, all of whom will come at very short notice.
